Oktavia & Olli – Die Hüter der Umarmung

Oktavia & Olli – The Guardians of the Embrace

Deep in a shimmering lagoon, hidden behind a curtain of seaweed and glittering bubble snails, lives Octavia – a young female octopus with a clever mind, eight dexterous arms and a heart as soft as warm sea sand.

Octavia is known for her memory, her patience, and her gentle hugs. While other sea creatures drift or swim from adventure to adventure, Octavia mostly stays in one place. She builds caves out of shells, sorts her collection of shimmering glass algae—and looks after Olli.

Because Olli, her little brother, is curious. Too curious.

He sticks his tiny tentacles into every shell, wants to know what happens if you tell a sea urchin a joke, and firmly believes that one day he will be able to climb a waterfall backwards .

Oktavia often laughs at his ideas, sometimes she sighs—but mostly she admires him. Because even though he's small, Olli is afraid of almost nothing. "You're my favorite adventure," she sometimes says when he snuggles up in her arms, tired of asking questions and marveling.

Together, the two are an unbeatable team. When Olli gets too boisterous, Octavia distracts him with little mind games. When Octavia gets too serious, Olli blows bubbles in her direction until she gives up, gurgling.

Their favorite pastime is inventing new stories: Olli begins with "Imagine an eel becomes king!" and Oktavia adds: "...and he rules with a crown of seaweed and an army of crabs dancing poetry." This is how entire worlds are created - without any maps, just from imagination and ink lines on sand.

And sometimes, when the current becomes completely calm and the water feels like a blanket of light, the two of them just lie there, arm in arm.

Oktavia counts the waves. Olli counts the hugs.

Both know: The greatest adventure is not what awaits outside – but what you carry together.
